RealMarket Receives ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 Certificates

Dr. Igor Panin, the General Manager of Quality Austria Center, with the RealMarket team.

“As RealMarket seeks to unlock the potential of the programmable economy, it is of vital importance for us to meet the needs of our clients and partners. Hence, receiving ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 certification was one of our essential goals in improving our company’s structure. This also motivates us to keep on advancing our quality management system and information security policies” — Dr. Dinu Dragan, COO

RealMarket has successfully completed the certification process that verifies the compliance with international standards in quality management (ISO 9001) and information security management systems (ISO/IEC 27001). The ISO accredited certification body Quality Austria has verified that RealMarket completely fulfills and satisfies the requirements within the aspects of leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, continuous improvement, and ethics for both standards.

The ISO 9001 standard specifies the requirements for quality management systems. It requires organizations to manifest an effective management system that is appropriately organized and steadily provides quality driven products and services which meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Therefore, achieving an ISO 9001 certification for a company means that it successfully demonstrates its sound quality process while focusing on the environment for products and services, their design and development, infrastructure, customer focus on quality, design inputs and outputs, and the way of how externally provided processes and services are operated. To put it simply, the core objective of ISO 9001 is to maintain expected quality standards within a company.

The other internationally recognized standard, ISO 27001, has it as its main objective to provide requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving information security management system (ISMS). In simple words, its essential aim is to guide an organization to implement and maintain an effective information security management system. Achieving an ISO 27001 certification means that a company has proven its ability to manage information security risks effectively and that it is in complete compliance with the required legal regulations.

Obtaining this dual certification (ISO 9001 and ISO 27001) is extremely vital for a well-organized company as it proves its competence and commitment to information security management, whilst providing a validation of its devotion towards the ideal delivery of its products and services.
